Inside Sales Representative (ISR)
We are hiring an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) who will be responsible for achieving revenue goals by closing opportunities in an assigned territory and passing prospects to the field for opportunities over a set amount. The ISR will follow up on web inquiries and conference leads to close or pass to the Field Sales team. If no inquiries are forthcoming, the ISR will be expected to cold call and develop prospects to build a pipeline. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales. Specific responsibilities include:
• Achieving revenue quota by prospecting and qualifying prospects to close
• Build, manage and forecast sales pipeline as required by management
• Provide daily/weekly updates to manager
• Conduct demos to qualified prospects
• Manage/overcome prospect objections
• Proactively follow-up on leads from all sources to close
• Develop superior customer service relationship with prospects
• Pass larger opportunities to field Account Manager
• Maintain customer/prospect SFA so that it is accurate and current
Inside Sales Representative Profile
• Minimum 3-4 years inside sales experience in the software industry to Fortune 2000 companies
• Proven track record at achieving revenue quota
• Experience in business development and exceptional closing skills in technology industry
• Experience selling to a technical (IT) audience
• Experience in and appreciation for entrepreneurial environment
• Knowledge of business organizational structures and buying influences
• Ability to foster team orientation with counterparts
• Ability to speak and write articulately and credibly
• Ambition to grow within company
• Experience with contact manager, sales force automation, or CRM product
• College degree or equivalent experience
